Text Box: The drive from Dumaguete airport to Malatapay takes around 35 minutes. The boat transfer from Malatapay to Apo Island also takes about 35 minutes. Liberty’s Lodge provides a full transfer service for 650 pesos per person ( 350 p. for airport pick up and 300 p. for the boat). If you choose to make your own way, there is both a jeepney and a bus to Zamboquita ask to get off at Malatapay. Renting a banca boat at Malatapay can cost around 1500 pesos.
