Text Box: Liberty´s Lodge on APO Text Box: Liberty's Lodge and Dive shop Liberty's Lodge is a unique place in a beautiful location.  The Lodge has been crafted into the rock, in harmony with the surrounding nature. Our rooms, 14 in all, are rustic simple and all have balconies facing the sea and setting of sun. We employ many clever techniques to overcome the difficulties of living on a small, remote tropical island;  A refreshing and highly effective shower system is used, the traditional Asian 'mandy'.  Naturally ventilated rooms enhance the sea breeze.  Ventilators  aid the flow of air on days when the weather is calm.  When it rains precious water is collected in cisterns. Electric power is on for ten hours per day.   Open to nature, cooled by the sea, Liberty's Restaurant severs freshly cooked Filipino and selected foreign cuisines, fish being our specialty. Comfortable, locally made bamboo furniture adds to relaxation in the tranquil setting of the lodge. Traditions ebbing and flowing with the traffic of pump boats.
